Preparation
Prepare cleaning utensils :
- Soft cotton cloths or microfiber cloths
- Mild soap solution (e.g. hand soap or baby shampoo) or special leather cleaner
- leather care balm or waterproofing spray

Step 1: Remove coarse dirt
- Use a soft brush (e.g. shoe brush) to thoroughly brush off dust and dirt.
Step 2: Remove fine dirt
- Gently wipe the leather with a damp cotton or microfiber cloth.
- Avoid too much water and too much pressure as they can damage the patina of the leather.
Step 3: Remove stains
- For light stains: Use a clean, slightly damp cloth and gently wipe the stain.
- For stubborn stains: Mix a mild solution of hand soap and lukewarm water or use a special leather cleaner. Apply the solution with a soft cloth and rub gently over the stain.
- Avoid over-wetting the leather as excess moisture can cause damage.
Care
- After cleaning, let the bag air dry at room temperature
- Avoid drying in the sun or near a heater, as extreme temperature fluctuations can dry out the leather and damage the patina in the long term.
General Tips
- No aggressive cleaning agents : Avoid chemical or alcohol-based
products to prevent damage. - Do not soak : Leather should never be over-moistened.
- Drying without heat : Always air dry leather, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Regular care: Care for smooth leather every 3-6 months, waterproof as needed.
